Vivint - Worst Customer Service EVER!

If I could I would give -5 stars! I have had vivint twice! The first time it was great except when I moved, they tried to bill me for 6 months after I left! I even had documentation! Then after I moved into my new home, the sensor was faulty at the back door and would randomly go off. Then when I let my renters use it, the "genius" IT staff they had de-registered the system! I could no longer use it! So we sent a person out there to fix it. The person arrived, sat outside for 20 minutes and then drove off! I called to complain to a manager about this and they were rude! So I made another appointment. Somehow the appointment was changed again without my permission for another week later! Now I called again and the service team never called me today to set up my phone app! It was in the notes clearly since day 1! So now it's ANOTHER trip out there! I sure hope the tech can clearly read the notes! I was also told that I couldn't cancel because I'm under contract. However, how can I be under contract when they haven't provided any service!!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER USE this companY!

Vivint - Cameras would not stay online

Vivint installed 4 cameras and the sales representative insured me that they were the best cameras you could get. After several visits from technicians to fix the off line problem, I was told the cameras would not work. Ok, they offered to come get the cameras and they did. They came and removed all four and said I would be refunded for them. Problem solve right! WRONG! I called about my refund and adjustment and I was told that the Vivint Representative and Technician should have never came out and taken the cameras. So I would not be refunded. They said they would bring the old cameras back and reinstall them even if they don't work, even though I have had this problem since day 1. I have only have the system for two months. I strongly suggest to run if a Vivint sales representative comes your way. Very Very BAD SYSTEM. CHEAP EQUIPMENT.

Vivint - Total Nightmare

I can't even type the whole experience we had. We purchased from Best Buy and waited 3 weeks for install..guy was awesome, polite, etc, however the setup kept trying to charge us and he had to end up UNINSTALLING everything. That is the short version, trust me. We finally got it taken care of but let me say it was the worst customer experience I have ever seen across the board (Vivint and Best Buy) We have had this for 2-3 weeks now and it barely works. The camera quality is horrible (Outdoor and Doorbell) - The doorbell barely detects consistently. Today the transformer in the attic blew out for not reason..had no issues in the last 6 years...and now the camera is really finicky. The Skypanel is the most unresponsive piece of equipment..it's like a 10 year old tablet..slow, even entering you code it hangs up. Overall I really hate this system..but there is nothing we can do now...we paid almost $2k for this equipment and are basically stuck with it.

Vivint - Great Flood Aug 2016-no service since

Acct% S-4961066 I have not had service since 8/16/16.. due to our home being flooded. The flooding in our house caused all contents to be disposed of.. therefore all I have left is the panel and an outside camera/doorbell which the water did not get to. I spoke with several people from August - November and no one would take care of the billing until I spoke with corporate. My account was stopped for a few months and now I'm getting billed again... twice so far. I'm not sure why I believe that anyone that works for Vivint can see that my system is not online/working. I thought someone would at least call me and ask the status of our situation before sending a bill... but I should have figured considering I have already had so many issues with Vivint since the day I was pushed in to buying your systems. Put my account back on hold and credit the 2 bills you have sent me recently. When my house is being lived in I will call you to come and hook the system back up. I am not calling as I get put on hold all the time. You can email or call me but I usually can't answer my phone at work. Thank you Dara
