THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN LESS THAN A WEEKS TIME. AFTER ALL THE PROBLEMS (TECH ARRIVED W/ HALF OF PRODUCT, ARRIVING NEXT DAY AND DID NOT FINISH THE JOB, LEFT EXPOSED WIRING, DAMAGES TO THE TRIM OF DOOR, DOOR LOCK DID NOT WORK,CHANGES TO MY ACCOUNT W/OUT MY CONSENT, WITHDREW MONIES W/OUT PERMISSION) I SHOULD OF STAYED WITH XXXX. I LITERALLY HAVE BEEN ON THE PHONE EVERYDAY WITH A COMPLAINT OR THE HAVE BEEN CALLING ME. I AM A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. IT IS SO UNFORTUNATE THAT THE WORLD IS MOVING IN A DIRECTION WERE THE CUSTOMER IS NOT PRIORITY JUST THE FINANCES.

I had the same thing...low battery for 9 months. I finally got someone to come out.

It took 5 service calls and me calling them everyday. They had to replace the whole box in the basement and also the cellular control panel. It finally worked after all of that was done. I made them give me 4 month credit and made sure all of the service fees waived before they came out.

They tried to just send me the parts in the mail but I told them if their service tech is not able to fix it what makes them think I am qualified to do so? So they kept sending out technicians to try and fix the problem till one guy knew what he was doing and fixed it.

Vivint in Orem, Utah - Dishonest company the bait and switch

Ryan from Vivint came to the door tos us we would get all kinds of up grades only to flat out lie when it came down to getting the system. Not only did he lie but he had the never to say that once you sign the contract it's done. I've seen some shady saleman but this guy takes the cake do not trust anything he says as it will cost you in the end. I lost all hope and faith in this company and I'm going to make sure that all my friends in california don't fall in this trap!

Made contract with Vivint a week and a half ago. Technicians did not have any key fobs during installation but text salesman to bring them on the next day.

But to no avail. We have been calling customer service only to be getting broken promises and excuses about someone coming with the key fobs and no one shows up with no curiosity call. But when we call the company, it is told that he can not be reached because he has no form of communication.

Really?! This is beyond ridiculous and we just about ready to cancel the whole service.

My husband was deploying to Afghanistan ,shortly before that ,the guy from Utah Ethan Rasmussen showed up and try to convince us .HE PROMISED US WHEN MY HUSBAND GETS BACK WE CAN CANCEL CONTRACT ALSO HE PROMISED THAT IF WE DECIDE TO KEEP IT AFTER HIS DEPLOYMENT and WE ARE PCS WE AUTOMATICALLY GET OUT OF CONTRACT.I called after he got back from Afghanistan his number didn't work,i was told there was survey after installation and i said in it that the agent didn't promise anything.The installation was taking place 10 pm ,i have a 3 kids ,and husband who was about to get deployed ,heck i don't even remember taking that survey .I have to watch the people who install the system because they are really mess up my electric outlet ,drilling walls and making holes .The survey should be in writing so i can seat and read!anyway there is nothing i can do andVivint telling me they train they agents good.Sure they do!!!

A door to door salesman came to my home July 23, 2013. My husband was excited about the system however I was not.

I told the salesman that I didn't want the system. The salesman said not to worry that I could try the system for a WEEK, 7 days. If I didn't like the system after the 7 day trial period, I could call and cancel. When I called on the last day of the trial period to cancel, I was told that I had to cancel the system within 3 days of the installation.

I should have read the contract.

I couldn't prove the salesman told me 7 days. I would have to pay for the contract or find someone else that would purchase it from me.

No show on the original installation date. Had take a second day off work to get only a partial installation.

It is now over a week and they cant even tell me when the rest of the system will be installed. I have made five call to request a date for the installation and they promise to get back to me with a confirmed install date. Tonight I have been hold for over an hour waiting to speak to a customer service rep to get an update on the installation date. Do not believe their marketing.

They do not provide "world class customer service". They do however provide "world *** customer service" Avoid them at all cost!!!!!!!!!!!
