Exchange, Refund and Cancellation Policy

This company was a door to door sales company. They told us we signed a 2 year contract, now they say it's 4 years and refuse to cancel.

Their equiptment (cameras and smoke detector) don't work, and they want $50 to send a technitian, plus they want us to wait weeks without a smoke alarm working before they can send one. We trusted them because they had an office in town , which they closed and left town after selling us our system. They sent the fire department when we were just changing the battery in a smoke alarm, even tho they had us on the phone and they called they knew who we were...because in the alarm of the moment we could not remember our "verbal" password..yet they give us NO OPTION of another security question or hint. We've asked to cancel several times, and they refuse, and demand full payment of a 4 year contract.

We agreed to 2 years.

We would NOT recommend this company to anyone !

This reviewer shared experience about poor customer service and wants this business to issue a full refund as the author lost $1500. The author is overall dissatisfied with Vivint. The most disappointing about vivint security system from Vivint was vivint customer service , but reviewer liked equiptment at first. Reviewer wants customer support to reach out to him or her ASAP for further discussion of this matter.
