They did a software update, I think this is their scam to sell new equipment to customers. Cause that’s when our troubles began, alarms went off all hrs of the day and night , multiple times, Vivint insisted we purchase the new and improved package, we refused.

We never had a contract with them, they took us over from a buy out of our former co. We told them we had enough of them , they said to put it in an email and send it to customer service, we did. They continued to take money from our account. We notified the credit card company and had them removed.

Now they hound us for being over due. We sent more emails, they claim they never received them. Today I contacted our state attorney general, I want to file a formal complaint now.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Sever ties. Stop sending bills. Our last payment WAS our last payment..

I liked: Look of the control panel, I like the equipment when it works.

I didn't like: Pressure to renew, How to stop service, Deceitfulness of salesman, Cancellation policies.
