Received letter stating that my contract was to expire May 2016. I called and advised that I no longer wanted their service.
The rep told me that I had to send a letter, which I did. My cancellation letter also advised that were not allowed to call me and must contact in writing. About a month later I received a call from Vivint rep who then tried to say I would have to pay through Jan 2017. He was completely wrong, as he did no homework on my account, and eventually agreed that I was able to cancel in May.
They just billed me for June.
