Vivint was great when we first installed almost 6 years ago. Weve had the occasional hiccup with service or equipment that has always been resolved.
However, we called today after having our panel updated, and it was disappointing. Basically our cameras are outdated and to continue having good results they need to be replaced. So not only would we have to pay for the equipment they want to charge an additional monthly fee for the new cameras. So we have 3 cameras now, replace them all and wed be charged for 6 cameras.
ASININE! Long story short, almost $900 for the course of a year with the upgraded equipment. When we inquired about being long standing customers, the remedy was giving us a $5/month credit.
Its sad to see a company not appreciate loyal customers anymore. We will be cancelling our service since Vivint since they are unable to provide the services they used to.
