I had vivint over 6 years, at first they were great, I would recommend to my family and friends. Towards the end and now that I'm discontinuing the service, it's a nightmare.
When I called to cancel my service, I was told I had to write a letter, then I wrote a letter and I was told I had to call. The representative was beyond rude and hung up on me when I wasn't persuaded by his half price offers to stay. Now that I'm finally done, getting out, I have been charged for 2 months of service. I was told when I called about the charges that it was apart of my contract to be charged one more month, but I would be issued a credit...
over a month later no credit and I disputed with my credit card company and I just saw another new charge!!! This is an absolute nightmare.
Get Arlo, you won't have to deal with this garbage company.
