After 3 years of service we decided to cancel our service. Gave a written notice as required.

15 days later they charge us another month of service. I called to see whats up and they said, "you need to read the fine print" you need to give 30 days notice so we billed you another month because you were short days. They had already canceled the service and they just wanted to squeeze me for another month. I said really, after 3 years your going to fine print me?

the reply was yes, and when I asked for a supervisor I was told you will only get the same answer. Was asked why I didn't want to stay and I told him the system was old and half of it no longer functioned so we felt it was time to move on.

I didn't get into the fact that no one ever called me when system faults were happening all the time, not did they call when I sent in my cancelation. Wonder if they even monitor the system at all.
