Vivint in Vallejo, California - Need to be released from my Contract due to health reasons

I have had Vivint for a couple of years & in August of 2015 they called & said it was time to renew my contract. It was a 48 month lease. I never received any written contract just the verbal. I was 75 years old & in February 2016 I was in a Convalescent Hospital recovering from surgery & I had a cardiac problem that in the ER was diagnosed as Atrial Fibrilation. I was told that I could no longer live in my home because I lived alone, so I was moved into my daughter's home where I have 24 hour care & cannot take 1 step without someone holding onto me so I don't fall & hit my head because I could bleed to death. I contacted Vivint in April to request having my service cancelled. I was told that I needed a letter from my Dr. It was emailed to them on June 17th. I called today to see if it had been approved & was told no! My daughter, who has my power of Attorney, got on the phone & was told that if I was in a skilled Nursing facility then they would cancel it. Then they said that I would have to have Dementia for it to be cancelled. I cannot afford to live in a Skilled facility & I get even better care in my daughter's home! They also said I would have to try to sell it on line! My family doesn't have that kind of time because they are busy taking care of me! I just want them to cancel my policy!
