Don't stress yourself with this sub par system. Considering the fact that the system was total garbage which had technicians coming to the dwelling on a bi-monthly basis to try to alleviate the issues, it was more stressful trying to get out of the contract than it was worth.
Vivint plays a game of deception by offering "band-aid" solutions just to pacify the customer so they can distance themselves from the root cause of the issue which never disappears. They send multiple techs, rarely the same one, to the residence and perform completely different trial and error procedures on each occasion.
This results in major issues from all different areas of the system from firmware to wifi to cameras...none of which ever get solved. If you sign a contract with this company, be prepared for all the downtime and grief that comes packaged with it.
