Be careful, they lock you into a 6 year contract, that's not explained up front. Very difficult to get out of.

Have had several problems with the doorbell camera. None of their self diagnosis procedures work.

After spending over a hour in a online chat with Vivint, made an appointment for service. After waiting the time for the 4 hour window for the service call, called Vivint, they had a totally different day and time for the service appointment. I had saved the online chat transcript so I had the information in black and white. They still would not acknowledge their mistake.

Also insulting is that they charge $49.00 for service call, regardless if equipment failure is their fault.

For that reason I will never self diagnose an issue with them. i will always ask that a service person be dispatched.

I didn't like: Misrepresentation of service, Service and pricing misrepresentation.
