Vivint - So you want a follow up, okay
This is what happen:
They sent two techs out over the following two month, I carefully explained my issues to the first tech and asked him to remove the unit. The first tech said that he did not have the knowledge to corrected the issues or the authorization to remove it. He made a call; informed me that these units sometimes do not function well in older homes, apologized and left.
The next thing to happen was the "straw" during a storm the vivint sent out a global storm alert, but the alert got lock into some kind of loop. For over two hours it rang and rang and rang. I finally got one of their online support tech on the phone and was told how to reboot the software to stop the alert.
Six or seven days later they sent of a repair tech, he told me that he has years of experience and could fix the problem. I told him to turn off the unit (but I was not very pleasant about it) because he did not have the authorization to remove it.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
